Is the test done on one day or over a number of days?
The test should be conducted over three or more days.
Can I eat meat during the test?
You should not eat rare red meat containing blood. Processed meat and white meats do not affect the test.
Can I continue medication during the test?
You should continue prescribed medication but attach a little note to the registration card listing medication you are taking.
How do I get my results?
Positive results will be posted to you and your nominated doctor approximately 2 weeks after submitting the test. Negative results are posted to you in up to 8 weeks after submitting the test.
What happens if I miss returning the copleted kit by the return date indicated on the kit?

What happens if I haven't used my kit and it is past the return date indicated on the kit?
After the Bowelscan project finishes in each year it is not possible for late kits to be processed. However, the kits have a use by date of 3-4 years and may be used for the following year's program.
